Archival investigations for the extremity of the solar-terrestrial environments

Despite their significant terrestrial impacts, it is difficult to capture the extremity of the solar-terrestrial environments with the modern scientific datasets owing to their time scales. However, historical records can occasionally allow us to conquer such challenges. This talk aims at showing some case studies for such archival investigations for the extreme solar storms and grand solar minimum.
