Senol : WP presentation of the WP, links between them. Identification of specific reviews. Milestones of the project. Question about the system tests WP6 to be done in Meudon before installing in Paranal --> Representatives IF.
ESO director team accepts Phase-1 of the projet, phase-2 not approved yet, need project presentation and review (TBC).
Board for review of the phase-1 of the ERC --> Go to director team for Phase-2 (instrument dev for Paranal).
Identification of needed support in engineering at Paranal and ESO-Garching.
ESO (?): Buy of new accelerometer for the telescope.
Status of the different WP:
-WP1 Metrology. Open the post-doc position to work on the WP. All the equipment buy for the demonstrator in lab in Meudon, not yet begin.
-WP2 Beam Combiner: Test-bench all equipped, characterisation of the fringe interference is on-going. Polarisation control need to work on it, not all the equipment in place, need to order equipment and install on the bench --> Duplicated that has been done in Gravity, very similar design of Gravity, difference on the control. Current work on one integrated chip on the bench --> 3 different companies will be involved for the development. First design on chip under test on the bench, issue on transmission --> need a new design @VLC (?) company. Teem photonic component tested last week on one input, transmission measured, need more robust test-bench, 25% transmission (50% goal, 80% best effort). NTT photonics (Japanese company) difficult to work with them, 6 months for the MoU, more to see as a back-up.
-WP3 Spectrograph. Contract issue between Leonardo and CNRS, problem on the penalty to paid... All is in the hands of CNRS.
Camera one big issue is the thermal regulation and skin temperature of the camera (Delta T < ±1.5K), we need to think about it. Next meeting in January @ FLI to agree on the CCTP document.
Optics: Disperstive optics (dark current 0.1e-/pix/sec). Need cold spectrometer (issue on thermal gradient on the optical fibre, issue on the cooling of the integrated optics component), need one (perhaps two) filter inside the camera with a cold pupil (need to re-image a smaller pupil on the filter).
WP3 Feeding optics. CEDRAT has finish the design phase, piezo-system under procurement, control electronics ok for first test, then after the test a new design for a new batch has to be done (perhaps think about the final electronics for VLTI requirements : housing, cabling, etc..).
WP5 Electronics and ICS. Need to get information on the current electronic cabinet @ PIONNER.
Action Sylvestre : Check PIONNER environment (electronics and stability).
Futur test-bench : need to by a tent and install the bench in the PICSAT room, seems to be the simplest way.
