WP0: Management

• PhD Selection, 6 personnes, one already interviewed 
• Last version of the Management Plan on the share: update of the cost, FTE and WP description 
• Very first draft of the DCI: list of all the external interfaces.

 

WP1 Metrology: Metrology

• Amira wrote the test plan document, description of the test bench in Meudon and the test to be done at VLT
• Need to talk about the tests @ VLT with ESO team.
• Amira to send the document to ESO team to organise a meeting.
• Student will see the way to install the fiber at the telescope.

 

WP2 Beam Combiner: 

• Add a mirror on a rotation stage, optimisation of the optical path
• Polarization adjustment with printed 3D parts
• Presentation of calibration data

 

WP3 Spectrograph:

• Meeting with FLI: step of the camera, need the right mechanical interfaces (ISO DIN 100)
• FLI will be late to deliver the full functional camera in time, decision to get 1 mechanical-thermal model (with electronics) in a first time to progress on AIT and then a complete camera to test the instrument before shipping to VLT
• Mass of the camera --> Placed on the top of the cryostat, see the impact on the optical design

 

WP4 Feeding optics: 

• Dichroic on the instrument side (have to be defined)
• IF are clear, to see if optical correction is needed

 

WP5 ICS: RAS

WP6 System Test: 

• What do we need in Meudon to mimic PIONER instrument ?
• Plan currently is not to replace all the PIONER instrument 

 

WP7 Pipeline:
