WP0: Management

• Go thru the minutes of the progress meeting for the various comments

 

WP1 Metrology: 

• Discussions with Pierre-Bourgé @ Paranal, good to have FSM as an option, piezo control system baseline
• Check if possible to have 8m of harness between the electronic and piezo. If not --> Use FSM
• Discussion around the optical fiber routing
• Availability by end of July @ Paranal to help installing the hardware
• Need authorisation from ESO --> How ask ? Need short document to explain the fiber routing.

 

WP2 Beam Combiner: 

• No news
• Laser source at the supplier to fix the problem
•  

WP3 Spectrograph:

• Last version of Zemax conf, optimisation of the collimator with two achromatic COST doublets
• Very first mechanical implementation 
• Action to have one unique document for all the spectrometer requirements.

 

WP4 Feeding optics: 

• Nothing to say
• Piezo stage will be delivered to Pierre @ Paranal to check the mechanical IF

 

WP5 ICS: 

• Nothing to say

 

WP6 System Test: 

• On the TLR document remarks from Luis:
  • Optical bandwidth
  • Need link to the metrology system
• Where to put the components at the VLTI lab and on the PIONER bench ? Important to define the components.

 

WP7 Pipeline:
