The workshop will be held at the historic Observatoire de Paris site, in the Southern Paris area, near place Denfert-Rochereau.
The Plenary Session are held in the historic Salle du Conseil.

Local transportation
The métro station Denfert-Rochereau is connected to the métro line 4 and line 6, and to the RER B line (regional train). There are also several bus lines stopping at Denfert-Rochereau: bus 38, bus 59, bus 64, bus 68, bus 88.
Getting there from abroad
Place Denfert-Rochereau is directly accessible from CDG Airport and Orly Airport.
- From CDG Airport, use RER line B, and stop at Denfert-Rochereau. The one-way fare ticket from CDG to Paris is about 12€ (at the time of writing).
- From Orly Airport, use the OrlyBus bus, and stop at Denfert-Rochereau (last station). The one-way fare ticket is about 11€ (at the time of writing).
It is also possible to hire a taxi from both airports. There is a flat rate for official taxis: 32€ from Orly Airport to the Southern Paris area, and 58€ from CDG Airport to the Southern Paris Area. Another set of flat rates applies if your destination is located northern from the Seine river.
For people traveling from France or Western Europe, the TGV trains are available:
- Thalys trains arriving at Gare du Nord from Belgium (1h30 trip from Brussels), the Netherlands (3h20 trip from Amsterdam) or Germany (3h20 trip from Köln).
- Eurostar trains arriving at Gare du Nord from the United Kingdom (2h15 trip from London).
- TGV Lyria trains arriving at Gare de Lyon from Switzerland (3h10 trip from Geneva).
Field Trip
The field trip on Wednesday (July 12th, 2023) will take place in the Nançay Radio Astronomy Observatory (ORN), which is part of the Observatoire de Paris institution. Transportation to Nançay and back to Paris will be provided (3h bus drive each way).
