Public Transportation
- from the Charles de Gaulle airport, take the train RER B, and stop at Denfert Rochereau. The journey takes around 50 minutes. Tickets can be bought at vending machines located in the hall above the tracks. The ticket costs 10 €. Once in the RER network, you are allowed to use this ticket for other RER lines, as well as metro lines, to reach your final destination. You cannot switch to a bus line or a tram line with this ticket. Once you exit the RER/Metro network, your ticket is no longer valid.
- from the Orly airport, there are several options. The fastest way to reach the Denfert-Rochereau square is to ride the Orlybus. The journey takes between 15 and 30 minutes depending on the traffic. Tickets can be bought at the vending machines at the bus stop at Orly Airport. The price is 7,70 € per ticket. If your final destination is another location within Paris, you will need a T+ ticket or pass (see links below) to continue your journey. Another option is to take the Orlyval and switch to the RER B train at the Anthony station. Tickets are 12.05 € each and can be purchased at the vending machines. They are valid for one journey only but allow you to reach any point in Paris using successively the Orlyval, the RER trains and/or the Metro lines (but not the bus lines nor the tram lines). Once you exit the RER/Metro network, your ticket is no longer valid.
- from the train stations in Paris, use the RER trains or the metro lines to reach the Denfert-Rochereau station. RER B and Metro lines 4 and 6 stop at Denfert Rochereau.
- More generally, for journeys inside Paris, you can use T+ tickets or buy a pass that covers several days.

Conference dinner
The conference dinner will take place at Bouillon Racine (located 3 Rue Racine). The dinner is a 20 minutes walk from Paris Observatory.
